Windows will show a warning the first time. The installer is not yet signed with a publisher certificate, so Windows shows "Windows protected your PC". Choose More info, then Run anyway. The install guide shows each screen.
What you need
- Windows 10 and 11, 64-bit
The same computer that runs Tally. No administrator password is needed.
- TallyPrime, with your company open
Built and tested on TallyPrime 7.1. Earlier releases and Tally.ERP 9 have not been tested yet.
- Tally's connection switched on
One setting inside Tally, on port 9000. Extolly shows you where it is if it is off.
After it downloads
- Run the installer. Open the file from your Downloads folder and follow the three screens: Welcome, Install, Finish.
- Open TallyPrime with your company loaded, if it is not already.
- Choose your company in Extolly. It lists every company open in Tally. Pick one, or several.
- Wait for the first read. Usually under a minute for a small business. You can keep working in Tally.
- Open your books. Extolly then stays beside the clock and keeps itself up to date.

Already installed? Run the same installer again to open, repair or uninstall. Removing Extolly never touches your data in Tally.
